By accessing or using Quorum ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Quorum provides a project-based bookkeeping and customer relationship management (CRM) platform for freelancers and contractors. The Service allows users to track expenses, jobs, and contacts.
3. Not Financial or Tax Advice
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Quorum is a software tool for organization and record-keeping. We are NOT an accounting firm, tax advisory, or financial institution.
The information provided by the Service, including profit estimates and expense categorizations, is for informational purposes only and should not be relied upon as professional financial or tax advice. You should consult with a qualified accountant or tax professional regarding your specific business obligations.
4. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Quorum cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. You are responsible for all Content posted and activity that occurs under your account.
5. Subscription & Payments
- Fees: The Service offers both free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle.
- Refunds: All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. As per industry standard, we do not offer refunds/credits for partial months of service, but exceptions may be made at our sole discretion.
6. Data & Content
You retain all rights to the data ("User Content") you upload to the Service. We claim no intellectual property rights over the material you provide. However, by using the Service, you grant us the right to host, reproduce, and generate reports from your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.
7. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Quorum, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
